ESN Lithuania is a non-profit organisation and the national branch of ESN in Lithuania. Our mission is to foster student mobility in Higher Education in Lithuania and to provide opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of Students Helping Students.
Currently there are 11 sections, in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai.

ESN Lithuania is managed by the National Board, which presents organisation in the International level of ESN, organises National events, keeps the connection between local sections, provides facilities for their development.

Erasmus Student Network is the largest student organisation in Europe, founded in 1989 to support and develop student exchange programmes. ESN is present in 500 Higher Education Institutions in 40 countries, with 15,000 volunteers offering their services to 200,000 international students, under the principle of Students Helping Students.

ESN works for the creation of a more mobile and flexible education environment by supporting and developing student exchanges on different levels, as well as providing an intercultural experience to those students who cannot access a period abroad ('internationalisation at home').

Vision
By 2025, ESN will be the global network of the Erasmus Generation, committed to improving international education and providing self-development opportunities to two million young people, fostering intercultural understanding and creating positive change in society.
